    The heatsink is done in two parts: one in copper that is in direct contact with the GPU, and the aluminium fins that help the system dissipate the heat produced by the components.

    As most of the latest Radeon cards, the 5870 can also be used in multi-GPU configurations. THe two connectors for the CrossFire bridge are placed on the traditional upper front part. On the opposite side, there are four video outputs: two DVI-I ports (that can be adapted to VGA with the proper adapter that comes with the card), one HDMI and a DisplayPort.
